You might start thinking about working somewhere else. (Just
to think about it.) If you feel spiritually inclined you could pray and ask the powers that be to guide you. You have taken some action here by 'talking' to us. When you have done most of the constructive things for yourself regarding this matter, then, just let it go. You know you will be alright. You'll be guided to do the right thing. Best Wishes. handshake

cherokeemoon2: I wouldn't waste my money. Eventually someone is going to do it for free. Maybe one of the people she fired.[/qu ote] You know what that could very well happen. She will get hers somewhere down the line.

And I can't wait. The funny thing is, she is completely clueless. One of my colleagues was stuck on a plane with her recently and she kept going on about how well she and I got along. I almost fell off my chair when he told me.

Hmmmm.....on second thought, I must be better at hiding my emotions than I thought.

Thank you, but I've been there for 15 years and have a whole lotta sweat equity in this site. I love what I'm doing, the people I'm doing with, and I'm not leaving til I'm damn good and ready!

I'd say it sounds like a good time to find a new job being she is speaking well of you but i kinda think that will stop abruptly when another employer inquires about you. You ever think about getting with your other exemployees and starting your own buisness? ( I don't know what you do or if that is posible but you know who to have on your teem).

What usually happens is one guy starts at another company and when something opens, they call people from the previous employer to try and woo them into leaving. It's a way of sticking it to the old company. I'm pretty determined to weather this storm. I have some heavy hitters supporting me, so even though I worry about what could happen (if i open my big mouth), I think she is going to leave before I do.

Besame: at work today.

My company was bought out last year and for the most part it's been a positive change. But we hired a new head of HR about a year ago and she's been firing people ever since. She's a heartless B!@tch and is destroying the culture at our site.

Today she fired someone that I have worked for, for over 14 years . He was like a father to me and it's devastating. He gave me opportunities and took chances on me that most people never would have.

This is the second time. Last January she fired my boss, whom I loved working for and was very close to personally. At this point I don't know how I'm gonna look her in the face without seething venom and hate. I'd like to smash her head in for being too stupid to realize what she is doing . If I don't get a serious attitude adjustment by tomorrow, I'll be next (I've already had a few run ins with her).

You may not have to worry about it if she belongs to CS? jaw drop

No chance of that. People like that don't seem to have any problem finding a soulmate-so she's already hitched. go figure...

Getting the head of HR canned is no easy task. Who do you complain to? Best thing is just avoid her and think about number one first. Don't hurt yourself. Jobs are hard to get these days. Sooner or later she'll screw up.
BTW, did you ever think maybe she was hired to clean house?

If that were the case, she'd be the head of janitorial services....doh
Karma is a female dog. This gal will get hers down the road.

And about the her ranting about how good friends you guys are, well don't be surprised. I have had more than a few people who I was completely rude to and made it very clear how much I despised them, and yet they'd ask if they could sit with me at lunch and things like that... Hm... I am a jerk after all, lol. The point is that they tend to delude themselves, which is part of why they suck at life. They get bit in the gluteus maximus down the road, sometimes repeatedly, and hopefully ponder "Hey, I suck. Maybe I should change my attitude?".

Good luck. Remember though, you're not stuck there, you always have a choice. Life may be uncomfortable for a while, but you always have a choice to leave and find a better work environment.
