Dates don't just organize themselves and relationships don't spring from nothing. You might think that if you hang back and play it cool she'll come to you. Well, this is one of the major ways guys blow it. Most of the time, you're going to have to make the first move and let her know that you're interested. Not showing enough attention can blow your chances before anything even happens, because if she's debating whether or not you like her, she's not going to want to waste her time with the effort of the unknown. Moral of the lesson here: You can either let her know you're interested or watch as she leaves with the guy who didn't blow it and showed enough attention to her.
This is the one that usually happens to me. I will show a guy I'm interested, but I won't go overboard. If he's interested, he needs to show me. I don't like one-sided relationships. I figure if he doesn't make an effort, then obviously, he's really not interested.
