I wouldn't exactly say the shouldn't marry....but speaking from experience...its a lot easier in the long run if you marry someone who believes as you do...

My friend the faith is Christianity not Baptist. Baptist is man's traditions of how they choose to excersice the faith.

I think they should.

I think there ought to be a law that only people of different religion should be allowed to marry.

That way we might be able to rid ourselves off them bits in religion which are nothing but shite, and end up with those bits that are of any use.

I think that´s something that only the individuals involved can decide and I believe that it depends on how important the rituals of your religion are verses the spiritual aspects of it are. If you believe that your beliefs and the way in which you exercise them are the only way to view and live your life... then it probably wouldn´t be a good idea to seek someone from another religion or ideology.

The only time I would say they should not marry is if the two religons were completly oppisite.

Example: Buddiest dating Baptist

Example: Church of Christ vs. Athiest

When the two believe two seperate things like this it is almost impossible for the two to agree.

I think that it all depends on how large of role religion plays in your life. If you are a very devout, fire and brimstone baptist I doubt anything other than another fire and brimstone baptist would fit the bill.

If you're more moderate, and dont consider dancing a sin, maybe a christian woman outside your sect would be acceptable.

Like I said, it all depends on who you see yourself as within your personal definition of faith.

If you marry a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Church of the People who like to walk backwards, or whatever kind of faith, and after a number of years it goes downhill. You never have sex, loads of tension in every room you’re in at the same time, numerous fights, evil eyes at the breakfast table, until you never eat breakfast together again, separate bedrooms, and life is a living hell.

What’s the hell kind of life if you experience the above, but with a devil-worshipped?
