I believe that when we die our bodies are just the containers we came in, and our spirit moves on to whatever existential destination you embrace. As such, nobody watching, no need to drop the flag on a foul. However, I prefer beaches and hotel balconies (and no, not the back of police cars... yuck!). I understand its macabre...years ago a girlfriend attempted to talk me into it on her grandfathers grave and at the time I was pretty religious and was against it...I've since changed my religious beliefs somewhat and this popped into my mind...I just recently found out the girl in question was molested by her grandfather and wondered if it was some sort of weird thing going on in her mind or if people actually got off on it for other reasons...

My younger sister and I have always been fascinated with cemeteries... and growing up, frequently pulled off some wicked practical jokes in them... (ok, not just while we were growing up... we still do)

If we have spirits or souls... and if they linger in places such as this... then I believe they would enjoy "a bit of life" around the place. Sex on a relatives grave gives me kind of an "ick" feeling... but on a strangers...

So for me it´s neither desecration nor defiance... more about sharing a good time or a good laugh with those who may be lingering.

When I was a child we had a cemetery next to the school playground and used to play hide-n-seek there, so they don't weird me. And yes, I've had sex in a cemetery...just not on a tombstone. I have respect for the families of the deceased. Honestly, I think most Spirits might get a kick out of it...I don't think they really care.

And yes, JB, I believe firmly that we have Spirits, or Souls, but in my experience if they linger anywhere, it's not with the shell they dropped, but with the souls they still love who are still in their bodies here.

I can't think of a more private public place to have sex really...

I'm thinking it might be pretty hot...

And, yeah, no family members...

If you find a lass who's into "water sports", you could always "do it" on top of a relative's grave who was horrible!!!!
