"Palin" is not running for President, she has been selected to be Vice President if they win the election.

In my professional career, I was in an elected position. One thing I learned, candidates do not win elections, candidates lose elections..

Being a "published author", the only requirement to become President!! I think I will run in the next election..

I thik we are all only addressing the thread's hypothetical question. Which obviously refers to the real possibility of someone who is voted in as Vice President who is then required for some reason or other to fill the shoes of Presidency.

And yes, candidates sometimes do lose elections. Another reality in politics.

So, BHO gets elected and for some reason dies in office. I believe that would leave Mr. Biden as President. So many are concerned with the age of McCain, how old is Biden again and has HE not had some medical problems?

Not really, no matter who is elected, the ways of this country and the rest of the world (since the world in dependent on what happens in the US of A) will depend on the parties various projects are delegated too.

When I was Executive Officer of the organization I worked for, my success was not based on what I did, it was based on the job those below me did. I simply got the credit (or suffered the repercussions).
