What`s a GOOD MAN (for a woman of course) in a man`s opinion?
What`s the kinda guy you would like advise your sister to marry?
And how could she tell if a guy is good without you being there to assist her?

if a man is considerate of her feelings and needs, but not a milquetoast.

If the man took pride in his work and does not have excuse after excuse for what he does or does not do. Yeah I'd introduce him to my sister.

the rest is all on her, him, or them.

My mother passed away when i was 3yrs old......... I was adopted by 2 real asse's..... when I was 16.. Joined the services...

So the way a man treats his mother has no real relevance for me!!!!

sorry.... I don't think I have helped here

If a man treats his mother like gold, puts her on a pedistal, that's likely how he'll treat his partner. If he's abusive toward her in any way, he'll be abusive toward his partner.

Oops sorry............... I thought you were saying I was a whinger!!!!

Don't you need someone there in your life before you can make excuse after excuse for what he does or does not do?

Not that I personally would..... if things go pear shaped I bottle it up as thing normally settle down..... and I wouldn't take any one along for the ride if things are going great!!!

To me, these are excellent examples of qualities found in a very "good man".

Well some men are a burden on their mother needlessly. Whereas
others try to lift and support their mothers. A specific example
may be like one that goes out of his way to take his mother
to church is probably a good man.
