sorry to bother u..was just wondering...when someone tried to IM u on this site..how come it only says "a website member is trying to IM you"..??/..shouldnt they let us know who it is who is trying to IM?..dunno confused innocent

I've seldom had any IM's (which is fine with me), but I think when you do get them, the member does show? confused

Yes that would be helpful, then you can decide if you want to talk to them or not. Or you could just turn it off like I did mine. laugh

Yes, when I get them, the member pic and ID shows up.

Yes but only after you accept to talk to them right? At least thats what it would do for me. A thing would pop up that a member wanted to IM me, then after I accepted and it went into the IM it would show their pic and username.

I go to my mailbox and hit the instant messages button and it shows you who is trying to im you-otherwise it does not show up...Then you can decide if you want to accept or not...

It should. It has done in the past. but I notice lately that the iD is missing. Very annoying. I just delete them , cos none of my friends IM me on CS, as it's a horrible and intrusive medium.
