Why not come to Australia? You would be most welcome and feel right at home. Our new Prime Minister, Mr Kevin Rudd, is fluent in Mandarin. Alas, I only did one term at University level, then got pregnant with my son. Missed 2 weeks lectures, which amounted to 10 lectures and 4 language lab sessions so I quit, as I was getting distinctions, and too much to catch up. Wish I hadn't though. I so love the language. One day, maybe. I have toyed with the idea of going to China to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. Would love to do that. But when???
