So i say yes it is.

Hi everyone!

Hi Hanna...bouquet

I don't know if it's always(I stumble over absolutes) the best choice,

but it is a choice I would do well to make more often.

Hi Mindful,

I believe kindness is always the right choice......do unto others as you would like done to yourself......

Although circumstances call for how one would handle any given scenario.....

But who knows true kindness?

Not some words on a forum.

Usually, I agree with this...but there are some situations that may need to be dealt with differently...conversing conversing conversing

Words are mightier than the sword. History has proved that.

i have been wanting to pose this question/thread for about a week
it seemed kinda not specific enough?

oh well

there it is

i signed out-stuff to do...but i felt like comin back for a second to post this

im not asking if some deity prefers it
im not suggesting i always do right
im just wondering-a smattering of input

is it always appropriate to be kind?
i think we can be kind and release people-
as in not be suckers

but do we feel bettter-really-in any type situation when our response is kindness-?

Yeah, I think it is always appropriate to be kind. Some will accept at face value, some will throw it back in your face. But, its all about how YOU act; how you want to perceive/feel about yourself. I'd rather try kindness and have it backfire then any act of unkindness. (Doesn't mean I always succeed, tho.)

It's at least always the right choice to begin with. If that doesn't work, kill 'em with it. grin

Don't mistake my acts of kindness as a weakness.... I find this is done more often than it being appreciated as a willful gesture of kindness.

If you're talking about common courtesy to friends and co-workers, strangers you meet in the store, kindness is always the best policy. It never hurts to be nice to people, even if you think they suck.

If you're talking about close relationships, family, lovers, close friends, we can sometimes hide too much behind being too sweet and kind and helpful. Sometimes the best way to love someone is to let them go and make their own mistakes, rather than constantly trying to keep them from falling down and hurting themselves. And constantly hiding how you really feel is the worst thing you can do in a relationship. Sometimes things need to be said, even if the other person doesn't want to hear it.
