UPDATE, Thank all of you so much for your care and concern. I just got home a short time ago, made a pot of coffee and now here I am. I only slept about 2 1/2 hours, told I stopped breathing 3 times and then did several heeheeeheees I guess like they teach in Lamaze classes, but belief me I am not pregnant(LOL) Will have all results back in about a week and then we will go from there. Was praying for better news but I have to remember it also could have been worse. Now I will hang out here with my early riser pals, drink my coffee, then shower this crap out of my hair and try to sleep for another hour or so.

Spirit, it sounds like one of your problems is sleep apnea. Do you usually get so little sleep, or was it because you were in a strange place? I've heard that doesn't help sometimes, and can make the results go askew.

Hi Dru, Yes I do have sleep apnea among other sleep problems from the lupus thinking it wants parts of my body that I am not ready to le it have control of. That scold is for the lupus. I joke about it because it helps me deal with it. My meds especially the prednisone we have to work around. But I still feel pretty spry most of the time. Hope you have a great day.

hey kid-a galpal of mine has lupus and her life is -well-not as she would like
2 kids under 4 and things have gone crazy for her the last 4 months-its really running the show now

i got that diagnosis once-along w/ 2 others that were wrong-i hope
seems that way so far-but i am familiar w/ lupus
its a real drag

im so glad youre doing ok
and doing at all

this gal i know is getting really depressed

Thank you sweety. So how are you 2 lovebirds doing? So happy for you guys. Yes I do go through the depression at times but have learned it only drags me down farther. Tell your friend to keep on top of the latest things they do for lupus on the net. TAKE CARE.

Keep up the humor and keep fighting it. A woman with MS that I met while I was selling Craftmatic beds once told me, "Don't ever let a disease own you. The moment you do that, it has control."

She had been extremely mobile for years with it, until one day she gave in and gave the MS "ownership"...she has fought even harder ever since, and still remains positive, but she regrets deeply that moment of weakness because it did make it harder. Very wise words that I'll never forget.

Hi Mastic, thank you sweety. If you would have seen me with those weird things stickin' out all over my head, chest and legs it would have been HeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeLP But some nice arms around me and voice whispering I am here it's all going to be ok would have been great.

That's great news that you're being treated. That's half the battle, now you'll get it under control. The autoimmune stuff doesn't help with sleep I know. I went to a wonderful healing service yesterday. I'll add you to my meditations.
