MrCoffee: Come on........Geesh! Forums are a penny a dozen. This is a "SINGLES" site! If you're not available then go away.

Yes they are a penny a dozen...and you're free to go away to one that doesn't allow people on them who are already taken.....however this one does....

CrosstownTraffic: But why would they want to go to that effort? I mean, the site is "connecting singles"after all.
It of course makes no odds to me if people who are not single are here too, but it would be a bit pointless for the programmer to add that function. Kind of like me going to an AA meeting and standing up and saying "Hello my name is Mr. Traffic and I am not an alcoholic!"

Why should that be an issue? It's great you found someone, but that doesn't mean you have to stop visiting us.

I left this site once and came back to hear the voices of those whose wisdom exceeds my own. My profile is quite clear what I am here for and I have not been disrespected nor have I disrespected anyone in their ability to find Love for themselves.
There are couples here who can exponentially lift doubts from those unsure and also provide clear testament to the power of faith and Love.
I don't believe I will be going anywhere, especially for one voice or even many.
The forum here is amazing and the people are even better.

Sadly, many who are taken and still on here receive a lot of criticism from others for doing so. Yet, on their journey to each other they made friends, and they stay for those friendships. They are wonderful people, and offer hope and inspiration to those of us who are still looking, and I still value them for their humor and friendship. Heck, there are a couple of friends I wouldn't have if they'd left when they got attached...and I never feel I have too many friends.
