Not all men are like that. Some may not be ready for a committment like that. Some women may not be ready for that kind of committment. Regardless of gender, any parent who "steps up" and takes on single parent duties is truly amazing and I respect that.

Can I turn you question around...Why do women run from single male parents?

I have my OWN kids and I don't want to put up with someone's else brat. Been there, done that and those two boys were the devil's spawns!

I do love children. I always wanted a child, even if he/she were not my own. I welcome women with children.

I don't run from women with kids, but I do walk away or don't get engaged. I raised my kids and at my age I am looking for my next and last love to travel, love and explore things together without kids. I don't see anything wrong with this opinion. I wish you ladies and gentleman with kids well.

Yeah especially when the parent twists them and gets them involved between the two of you.

Yeah, that's always crappy but my own experiences with a woman with kids was that they didn't want to live with her, they wanted their dad and were not allowed to be with him so they did everything possible to get in trouble and I ended up getting hurt by their violent behavior so now I prefer dating women without any children because since I had no say in their raising there really isn't much to do but to bear the brunt of their incorrect rearing and it's not fair at all.

Anyone willing to get involved with a woman with kids is just asking for trouble.
I've learned my lesson and learned it well.

My experiences with younger children the bitter ex-wife was still involved and the older ones had attitudes which I can understand since I've already posted that my dad remarried when I was 21 but it's ugly when the parent uses their children and puts them in the middle. It's not the kids fault it's all in how the parent handles things.

Too many people are too stupid to understand any of that.
I kept telling her to let those kids see their dad or be with him but she wouldn't listen and now she doesn't even have them because the state decided that the dad will have them.
Another example of a nice lady blinded by emotions and vindictiveness.

But sadly men too have the same problem.

So, the moral is: Single and with kids = raise them first, play later... Or give them to the other parent and stop being a selfish one ( both sexes here )

And when they grow up let them live their own lives and you live yours....
