Not only is California bankrupt, but this stinking state is actually stinking. I have treated more respiratory issues this weekend than I think I ever have with all the smoke around here, all while I have asthma myself.

It is time to get outta this place. At least in the Midwest I only have to worry about the occasional supercell Tornado to kill me - and that is a lot more rare than these fires are.uh oh

We went through the same thing here in Florida a year or so ago. The fire started in Georgia and eventually ended up scorching most of north Florida. It went on for weeks and for some lucky reason, we got all the smoke where I live. I now have a whole host of allergies for the first time in my life.

Well we also get smoke up here in Idaho. When forest fires start
in Oregan, Washington, Idaho and sometime smoke from California
makes it here. But I rather have smoke than tornados. drinking

Ahhhh so that's why I have seen the same commercial played over and over on tv here in canada! LOL. I always see this commercial of the Arnald and his wife and a bunch of other people talking about how great it is to live in California and then at the end they say something like "so come find yourself here". It was almost like a ad saying "come live here". lol.

I couldn't move to Europe as much as I want to tour there because of the health care system that sucks.

If I wanted to go there and work for the government I could, but that is not going to happen.

Just think if the tree huggers there would allow fire fighters to burn the dead brushand tree from time to time in a contained manner, then you's wouldn't be in the situation that your in, and the smoke in the atmoshere around there would be minimized, and lots of people over the years would still be alive..

But from what I hear about CALI. your better off somewhere else..JMOcheers

I'm close enough to Philly to visit... that's it. I'm in the burbs.

From what I hear though, the tort here is lousy.
