Dear all,
Do you remember my birthday?!

As you all well know,we're getting closer to my birthday,each and every year there's a celebration in my honour and this year the celebration will be repeated.

During this time there are many people shopping for gifts,many radio announcements,T.V commercials,in many parts of the world everyone is talking about my birthday getting closer and closer.
It's really nice to know that at least once a year,SOME people will think about me.
As you probably know,the celebration of my birthday began many years ago.
At first people seemed to understand and be thankful for all I did for them.
But in these days and times......
Not many seem to know or remember the real reason for the celebration.
Last year there was another great feast in my honour,the eve of my birth,'round the world....
Many dinner tables were full of delicious foods,pastries,fruits,assorted sweets and drinks.
Decorations were exquisite and there were many,many,beautifully wrapped gifts.

But,do you want to know something?
I wasn't even invited;I was the guest of honour and they didn't even think to remember me to send me even a prayerful invitation.
The party was supposedly for me,but when that great day came,I was left outside many celebrations.As if the doors were literally closed in my face.....
I'd very much like to have been included,to be with them and share their table,and joy.
But in truth,it doesn't surprise me much anymore;it's just happened so often.
As I said earlier,many close their doors,their minds,their prayers,even their hearts to me.
Since I was not invited,I decided not to enter the party.
But,being me,my curiosity got the better of me,so without making any noise,I went and peeked in a window.......And then I was cold,so I slipped inside and stood quietly in a corner;no one took any notice of me,they were all absorbed in their merrymaking to even realise I WAS there.
All appeared as if they were having a great time,and were smiling and looked happy.
But,to top it all off,it seemed as if this big man,all dressed in red was the REAL focus.
He was wearing a long white beard,and enterd the room yelling HO-HO-HO!He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him saying,''SANTA CLAUS!''...as if the party were in his honour!
At 12 midnight all the people began to hug each other;I extended my empty arms waiting for somebody to hug me and... do you know...no one,not one person hugged me.Suddenly they all began to share gifts,opening one at a time with great expectation.
When all had been opened,I looked to see if maybe there was one,even a small one for me.
How would you feel if on your birthday everyone else shared gifts and yet you got nothing,not even a hope,or a thought?
Then I felt understood that I was unwanted at the party and so,quietly left.
But every year it seems to get worse.
Many people only remember to eat and drink,gifts,food,etc.
