I don't know why some people are so cruel and filled with hatred. My heart also goes out to this grieving family. As a parent, I understand that they're going through one of the worst things a family can go through...they certainly don't need it made worse.

Fear breeds hatred brokenspirit. People are afraid of who & what is different from "the norm". It's very sad, but true.

Wow... that is just horrible.

I think most of the time how fortunate I am to live in such a small
community. Well this outrage happened in a town smaller than
the one I am in. I do beleive these people who claim to be doind
these things because they are doing God's work and they are just
showing the other young people in the community that this
type of life style will not be tolerated. I want no part of their
Christianity. They are just sick and confused with too much
time on their hands.

I have this fantasy...that religious cretins who do this actually end up in Hell for a time themselves - seems like an apt punishment.

Of course, I would limit that time to something less than eternity, being a merciful god myself.

People will use anything as an excuse to hate, fight and hurt each other.

Is a sad world we live in.

These actions have nothing to do with Christian.

It always disturbs me more when young people are killed....it's just unnatural for them to go before us having not lived out their lives to a full ripe old age....BUT the kind of people inflicting hatred on a family in mourning after just losing their son....disturbs me even more...I don't get it...these people have to be black on the inside to hold that much hatred in their hearts...I can't even fathom what it would be like or have to take to be that much full of hatred for someone because of they way they were born...yes it has been scientifically proven that gay people are born that way....and that it never is or was a choice....and even if it was...it is still no reason to be soooooooo full of loathing for another human being just because you don't agree with their sexuality!!!!!!!!

I addressed that very thing last night...racism which is a whole other topic that gets my dander up...especially when people can't even admit it exists....
