for any philly eagles fans out there.... it's been a rough year.

the season is over for us, now it's just about getting better and rebuilding for next year. the talent is there, the coaching staff is not. DO NOT run the ball with your big pro-bowl right gaurd injured on 4th and 1 to the RIGHT side! and its great we try to run the ball in the most decisive points of the game... especially when you dont feel like going out and getting a fullback who can block for Brian Westbrook. No fucking wonder we didn't convert, asshole. OUT WITH ANDY REID!anyone agree? disagree?

ohh... and what about the 4 consecutive offensive penalties on the first drive of OVERTIME that left us with a 1st and 25 in OT.... coach your fucking players. well-coached players do not make mental mistakes in such a pressured situation. (i.e. delay of game, offensive pass interference, 2 offsides) all one after another in THE MOST critical point of the game... OVERTIME. can we get rid of andy yet? he bases his offensive around the pass game when we have no DEEP THREAT and mediocre receivers. DOES ANYONE FEEL MY PAIN!!!!

respond if you want to hear my whole schpeel about the birds and their situation.

all i know is that i drove 10/11 hours for a game that wasn't worth half of the price i spent for it. ugh i'm so frustrated. if your from philly, you know.

on another note - CONGRATS PHILLIES again for bringing some kind of relief to our city.

The Eagles are missing a fullback to get a helmet on a linebacker and a running back who can grind out yards on short yardage situations...They have two small backs in Westbrook and Buckhalter, they are good backs in a spread offense, but not the best backs in short yardage situations or running out the clock with the lead.

DeSean Jackson is a DEEP THREAT and their receivers a good enough to get it done.

They are just missing the power element to their offense. Andy Reid is a great offensive mind, but yes he has had some dumb calls like in the Bears game (4th and goal) and of course against the Giants last week. But the man can call a good game and he is still a good coach.

He needs to get back to more of a pure west coast offense by using a fullback and a tightend and mixing in some more rollouts for McNabb on play action. He's gone too spreadish and fast tempo on offense. You need at least three solid receivers to pull that off and a solid catching tight end.....like the Greatest Show On Turf type offense personnel.

McNabb is fine.

You Philly fans are idiots. You guys get so f*ckin stupid when things don't go your way and assume that the whole team needs to be replaced. It's not like the Eagles have just a couple of wins...they are in a tough division and a couple of plays and players from being in second place...

The Birds do need to have a good offseason as far as signings and Reid needs to go more west coast offense again.

andy needs to go, end of story. he hasn't done anything at all since 2004 since the 4 NFC championships and the trip to the superbowl. he wants to run the ball in critical situations when 1.) we are not a running team 2.) pro-bowl RG shawn andrews is injured and 3.) he never wanted to pick up a decent full-back to blow it up a little... BUT THEN WANTS TO RUN THE BALL IN THE MOST CRUCIAL OF SITUATIONS. that and like mentioned before..... his offense had 4 CONSECUTIVE mental/stupid penalties resulting in 1st and 25 and ultimately a punt on the first series of OVERTIME. all of our games this season have been lost by 5 points or less. does that not tell you that we have the tools but poor coaching/play calling?

now lets get one thing straight, i love our players. you give mcnabb the right tools and he is going to produce. same with westbrook, and westbrook does it without any tools sometimes. our O-line is huge and our defense is shutdown. there is absolutely no reason why we are in last place with a tie with the 2nd worst team in football. which is the reason why i believe something needs to be done with the staff.

and dont hate on philly fans. we are die-hard for our team. just like any other major sports town, we get frustrated but lincoln financial field is year in and year out, still one of the most toughest tickets out there and according to the Quest for 32.... we are the 2nd most indimidating fans next to Oakland. this comes from 2 guys who have seen em all. why? because our fans are great so fuck off if you want to hate on us. we do what we do and really dont care what ANYONE else thinks.

back to football... its time for the eagles to rebuild... and one more thing, desean jackson is our only deep threat if you can even call him that yet, he makes a lot of rookie mistakes, and is still developing on how to read defense, and if you pay attention, he still isn't on the same page as donovan yet. so yeah i can agree, hes sort of a deep threat, he WILL be a deep threat, he is a great player and i expect him to be with us for a long time, but he's a rookie and he's not there yet, he's not a number 1 receiver... not yet

donovan is also 32, 33 years old? he's got years left in him but he is getting older every season. i love him, he's our guy... but do i see the beginning of the kevin kolb era coming?

I think you guys have it all wrong. The eagles just arent that good and the bengals played more to their talent. Both teams arent very well coached or managed. Technically the bengals should have won by 21. By their fault they didnt. it was their game to win. Not the eagles. mcnabb handed it to them. Eagle fans are lucky they tied. If palmer was playin it would maybe have been a 20-13 win for the bengals. But he isnt very reliable either. But the eagles made HUGE mistakes to a team who are known for mistakes. If it was any other team it would have been a blow out. And im a bengals fan... The eagles arent much to look at either.

laugh Aint nobody trippin or hating...you Philly fans just crack me up, that's all.

I'd give Reid one more year before I'd pull the plug on him.
I'd keep McNabb around and try and trade Kolb. McNabb has too much upside and still has another 5-7 good years in him.
Like I said, the Eagles need some short yardage backs and a good tight end who can block and receive.

Raider fans(the ones who actually go to games) are hardcore and loyal, but too many of them are band wagon fans. Raider games rarely sell out. I used to go to Raider games all the time. Even wore my Michael Myers mask to games.

The Bengals have been playing better this month and they are not horrible like the Lions or Rams.

And don't give me that technical bs about the Bengals should have won by 21. They didn't....end of story.
Shit, the Raiders should have won 2 more Superbowls in the 70's or technically they should have beat the Patriots in that tuck rule game, but they didn't.

Palmer is done. He looked really horrible before he went out and he has not done much in a consistent manner since he got the Bengals to the playoffs in 05.

KEITH - i can agree with you to an extent. the eagles are not the team or force they used to be. but don't call us a bad team, you did that indirectly. like i said before, all of our games we have lost, have been lost by 5 or less points. i'm guessing you didn't see us play dallas when romo was in, or the redskins, or any other good football team we've played that we have lost to. in every single game, the play calling killed us. i would have to go back and disect all the games but, the games we lost were very close games, the majority of which were OUR game to win, but andy is a big ol' moron. has a good conecpt in his head and on paper, but it just doesnt work in games. anyway, like all the other posts ive made, im getting off-topic but the point is.... our team has the talent to beat any team out there whether you agree or not. we should really be 8-2 if we had the right hands at the controls (coaches)... one more thing to give you, mcnabb isnt what he used to be either, but he can still play and is still capable of winning a championship.
