There are many good books on the subject, Dr. Sears being one of the best authors when I was raising mine at that age.

Basically...you can't spoil a child by holding them too much, they're not fruit. Babies have very limited needs...a dry diaper, food, sleep, and love. Hold them, sing to them, love them...and follow your instincts. It's not just mothers who have parenting instincts.

You'll be fine.

In 17 years you'll find out how fast they grew up...

I checked your profile and seen your a single Dad of twins that live with you. It's a lot of work and the best think I can suggest is make sure you make some time for yourself, like once every week or two, best of luck to you.handshake

Yeah I heard that you cant spoil them really by holding them but it is when they get a little bit older you can do that.I am trying to do the best I can for them and not lose my mind too lol.At least for right now they both sleep and eat at the same time, well with few minutes difference.

Thanks for the advice.

Have you seen the Supernanny programmes?

Lots of great advice in them for when they get a little bit older.

A single dad with twins - wow! You have my admiration and sympathies. I have 2 who are 15 months apart but I did not know what sleep meant for 2 whole years. My only advice to you is - sleep when they sleep.
