Gilly my man, I am curious in my own way as to which god was there for those very first black slaves when they were sold by their brethren to the white traders who arrived on their shores. Pretty sure God did not invoke these rituals of ownership upon us humans, people did. He (God) has remained resolute in allowing us to do what we choose and yet He is always the one who gets blamed. Shameful really. God is truly colourblind in the ways of skin colour and watches over each and every child regardless. We just choose to blame Him for things to which we have little or no understanding. Our fault not His.

SummerUK: Its quite simple really.....God gave us everything we needed to make our lives perfect. We decided we knew better and went against his rules. Rules set to protect us, nothing else.

Like a father does to a child he stood back and let us get on with it. He knew we wouldn't be able to live without him but we thought better. We needed to learn a lesson.

As the bible tells us, the dreadful things that happen hurt him more than they hurt us
but he has to let the world run its course before he can step in again and say ' I told you so' and then make everything perfect for us again.
