If they claim to be from the same place as you, ask them what their favourite local is.

That's shut 'em up quickly.

If they're Africa, Nigeria, or Russia, ignore it. They're not part of the Connecting Singles network due to major scamming problems.

MindyQ: I see a few people posting from India. Are there really many people from all over the world on this forum? That is so cool. Do people from different countries actually meet up sometimes and date each other?

Sorry if the question sounds naive but I just think it's pretty cool to be chatting with people from other countries.

And yes, before you ask, I do live in a bubble. I have not been internet savvy all that long. I thought the internet was just for youtube and email.


It's truly int'l...it's all fun and games till politics is discussed...there were some nasty wars and people have been banned.

Nevertheless, this forum is kick ass...it goes in phases....

I think that´s only appropriate in Ireland... I had no idea what a local was until I opened a bar in San Francisco and became the "local " for a load of Irish lads....laugh

But I get your point, there are a load of questions you can ask.... I asked a guy who was supposedly from the States what name of the San Francisco football team was... when he couldn´t answer that I knew there was no way he was from the states! laugh

Hi Mindy wave yes i am from Australia, way down under.......and its great that we all get to chat to eachother like this, if it was'nt for these forums we would never have the opportunity in the real world to ever bump into some of the amazing people i have met on CS, Oh a word of warning tho, it becomes very addictive peace

I've got nothing against any nationalities.

I was just pointing out that the guidelines on the site points out that those countries are part of the network, because of major scamming problems that mostly originate from there.
