This raises an interesting question: How come whenever people are feeling down, they always "justify" it by saying "Oh well, I suppose it could always be a hundred times worse", instead of not justifying it by saying "Oh well, I suppose it could be just TWO times better"..?! Are we so conditioned into thinking that we have to be "grateful" for our periods of feeling down by comparing them to much worse situations...? Why not ignore those worse situations and demand that God makes our own situation just TWO frigging times better instead...?! And besides, how can anyone be "happy" in this world when the media keeps informing us just how horrific other poor bastards have it! The only reason we CAN be happy is because of DISTANCE! We can't hear their screams or see their torment. If it was happening in our own backyard we could NEVER be "happy". Thank God for DISTANCE!
nomindgames: My day was not anything very different or extrordinary.I know many are non beleivers but this is one way I live my day-If you need help ask God,if you don't thank God.Also stole the AA expression One Day At A Time.I am just thankful I am not cold or in pain or hungry or broken hearted etc. Ordinary is just fine for me.
