Shirley49WV: My elderly father is going to have another PET scam tomorrow and a full body CT. They had found a few months ago nodules on his thyroid and chest. He is a whits end with all the test and I don't think he really understands what it is all about. And I am not about to explain all to him unless they find something more serious tomorrow. They did a thyroid biopsy last month and they were 90% sure that their were no cancer cells.
But his health is declining rapidly and so they are doing the full body scan for cancer. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. " I am a big daddies girl." Along with Adam.....go bless him as well.

Part of having a thyroid problem is depression, when his thyroxine levels are low, depression can set in. One thing he can do for himself, is get his body moving first thing in the morning to get the thyroid a wee kick start.... can ease the symptoms ...not all but some

Thank you so much that means alot to me right now. I've had Adams passing on my mind all day today and my father so it has been a rather hard one.

Thank you for your private message as well. We all have to go through it at one time or another and know that the day will come. But, I just can't see my life without him in it....just can't.
