My lady and I did a benefit concert last night. we do a cross over stle of music...Keltic folk and blues...she plays a Keltic folk harp. We enjoy all kinds of music..with a very few exceptions

My tastes are very eclectic...Big Band/Swing of the 30s-40s, 50s, rock from the 60s-now, easy listening, hard rock, soft rock, reggae, world music, classical, country...I even like a little bit of rap/funk if it's got a beat I like to dance to...and you can add things like Native American drum and flute, sounds of nature with instrumentals...I just love any music that doesn't jar my ears or offend my soul...hence why I hate gangster rap. What I want when depends on my mood...and I listen to a radio station that mixes it up from the 60s to now...best variety I've ever heard.

Well, ever heard of bands like Rammstein/Curve/Rob Zombie/Megahertz/NIN/Eisbrecher......

You'll notice a Germanic rock theme going on here.

Drums, guitars and a good thumping beat with ground noises and i am well away.

I don't have a brilliant stereo for nothing!

my tastes in music are very eclectic as well...duke ellington said...''there are only two kinds of music, good and bad''laugh ....to me it does'nt matter what the genre of the music is...music is an inturpretation of mood and feelings...so, if your not in the mood {when listening to a certain genre} your not going to feel itprofessor laugh

As a musician its very hard to classify what I like. The list is shorter of what I don't:

Bubblegum pop (a la New Kids or Britney)
Pop with a twang (new Country)
Recitative with a bass and drum (rap and hiphop)

Other than that I like alot of things:

Opera
Classical
Jazz
Blues
Rock
Classic Country
