People post pictures that they feel represent who they are. We all have our own way of smiling.
A big dumb tooth grin might not very very attractive to someone who prefers a more refined image of self control.
There is no one universal image that anyone "should" follow.
With that in mind, to each their own.

It is not a matter of if I know what a person thinks, it is a simple fact.
People post pics of themselves. That's the idea behind a profile, to represent ourselves to strangers.
Even in the midst of our playful games with cartoon pictures, we are telling a story... part of our story.
Now, if we all had complete strangers post pic for us, then there would be no "soul" to the display.


As for the voting:
no one votes on my pics... male or female.
They are welcome to vote on the cats, but more out of sheer novelty.

I guess its hard to make a sweet smile specially if you are not feeling well.mybe they want to smile in real not in photo as for me i cant smile with out enough reasons,and i can give my smile for anyone but to smile for photo its not easy.::doh:

I think you will find I am smiling in my photo. That's cause the person that took the photo had his tackle hanging out.

My pics don't come out good with a smile, so I tend not to smile in them. I have one on here with one, though...if you go to my profile. It has been up as my primary before, too.

I do smile a lot, though. Honest.
