When I first joined in I really thought I could meet someone. Now I think it is not going to happen. I try to contact women on here with flowers and emails, and even try the IMs. Hardly ever get any kind of response, and when I do it is other women from different countries. I know that relationships can happen with people from different countries, but last time I checked I don't have a private jet either.

One girl contacted me saying she was new and wanted to know how I flowered her. The other was a girl which was over seas , saying that she lived in the USA.

Well, you have to have a sense of humour in order to survive in Canada. Freezing to death is only funny if you die with a shit eating grin on your face.

I understand what you're saying about the private jet. That's what it would take for me to have an LDR with that kind of distance, too.

Have patience. I've seen many success stories on here...and many of them met in Forums. Funny, but if you hang out and have fun on here, the person you're looking for can crop up right in your own back yard. Or across the pond. You never know. Stay open to the possibilities, and have fun and make friends in forums. It does occasionally lead to finding your true love.

Just how big is the US, sit back, take a breath and think, its a fecking big place friend, try living on a cramped tiny Island where to go in any practically any direction further than 600 miles takes either a boat or a plane.

It takes time to find someone right, but hell, its worth the wait, believe me
