Science is a good thing, but there are things that science will never be able to explain, and alot of the things they thought they knew, later on down the road some other scientist proved that what they thought before was wrong, science has no "PROOF" of any falsehoods in the Bible...

I get a kick out of watching the Discovery channel, when they tell the science side of Biblical events, they go all out of the way, to dis-prove the Biblical events, they end up with so many anomillies (mis-spelled) that had to of occured, instead of just "BELEIVING" that GOD did it.

The one thing I have notice about alot of (not all ) atheists, is that they seem to be very bitter because beleivers are happy...

There is an old saying you can draw more bees with honey than with limes. If your purpose is to convince Christians of the errors of their beliefs you are not going to convince very many by sounding so angry. What's the point of this thread? Is is to say hey I believe in something that holds more water than what you believe in and I'm feeling so superior? Because that is how you come across my brother, not as someone who cares that someone might have chosen the wrong path but that you must be right at any cost. People get up everyday and want to feel like their existence here means something. After seeing all that is wrong with the world, it is only human to want to hope for something better. Whatever people may want to place that hope in be it religion or otherwise. What you offer is not hope but criticism, but is it constructive criticism? Or is it meant to divide an already divided world? And is it done because you truly love and care about the welfare of those who follow these religions or is it done out of a self serving need to be right.

seriously you've never once been asked at an interview what religion you are? you should try getting a job in glasgow. i've been asked a number of times if I was a catholic or protestant. after that became illegal I was asked if I was a rangers or celtic fan. I used to say neither, told whoever was interviewing me that I was a partick thistle fan.

My daughter told me that was definitely a thing of the past. And she went to school in Glasgow (till she was 12! i.e. 10 or so years ago!) So either she knows something I don't know or it's the brash confidence of youth...

You could have said East Fife or Raith Rovers!

I only ever had one job interview in Glasgow. Didn't get the job. They never asked me that kind of question though.

well, i'm afraid sectarianism is alive and well in scotland. anyone who doubts that need only go to the next old firm match. or just visit the local pubs, I recommend yoker. I was at an interview for a chef's job about 18 months ago and the guy interviewing me came straight out and asked if I was a tim.
it's not just glasgow though, try fife. I recommend crossgates or cardenden if you want to see sectarianism in action

I was told that we are at, what is known as a "Nucleur threshold?" that all civilizations reach. When I asked specifically, "What will happen if I do not help you?" However, based on our past and current works in life, "God" gives people different gifts to help others elevate to a higher understanding and consciousness.

However, we are in absolute agreement in the fact that mankind must take responsibility for what is happening on the Earth NOW, for correcting lies and deceit, and bringing themselves to higher intelligence and competence, and for caring about the earth itself.
