I am appauled that someone did that to you. Well it seems that a lot of people have to keep their ex's all in their lives as "little best friends" these days and 3 guys in their 40's that I met here were keeping their Ex's all in their lives, even the ones where they never had children! So I was able to find this out before I got intimately involved. It was zero tolerance for me as I saw the writing on the wall. But, I think there might be something in your personality that tells young girls that you are too easy, too nice, and so they take advantage. You weren't perfect for those girls and they were not honest with you in the relationship and the grass was greener with sex with someone else, and that is not your fault. They should value you for overall qualities, but make sure they are satisfied with you in bed and all is mutual before you get too deep! good sex really matters big in a relationship and must be happening weekly to cultivate it.//Mary

No... you don't have "Cheat on Me" written across your forehead. We all have different codes of conduct and standards of what we believe is acceptable treatment of, and behaviour towards, others, They may not correlate with yours. That said, treating someone so shoddily is a CHOICE!!! Whatever excuse we may want to give to it, its still..... CHOICE!! She clearly felt that it was acceptable to treat you in this fashion and denotes no respect whatsoever.

Someone that does that should be history, pure and simple. Its hard, I know, but whatever happens, you ultimately need to maintain your self-respect and, above all.... your dignity. I am sure you are worthy of better.....
