I had a similar scam attempt and found her on a Russian scam site the day she asked me for cash, i goggled her email and name and got a boat load of links of her/his handy work.

Then the next week another scam attempt but this one was real easy to uncover when she had feelings for me after 2-3 e-mails.

I did get a chance to do some research on Russian women and they are interesting, so it was a free learning experience.

I get quite a few Scammers always the handsome guy in his late forties. They look at my age and must think I am lonely and a pushover.Have I had some fun with these guys I beg them for help and have had varied responses.
Some shut me down but some others not many !!have really felt sorry for me but told me they had to give every thing they earned to family those guys must be new.... .

Another time I gave them my mob phone no telling four of them I wanted phone sex three called (figures)I kept chatting about nothing... but in a soft sexy voice for about 10 mins' got the phone charges up, they had these real Nigerian accents.
One guy said he was in the middle of London in his office,so funny with all the roosters crowing in the background.

That was fun as I got him in a real muddle as I am from England originally. It was worth it and I changed my phone no after that.

The Scamee got the Scammer try it one day its fun to turn the tables on these bloodsuckers. devil devil devil

ooby_dooby: A while back I was emailing a lady I met on here who said she was from New York. She liked my profile and sent me a flower. She was kinda young, very pretty and said she really liked older guys because they are more romantic. Ok so I figured WTH why not see where it will go. In her first replay to my email she said she really wasn't from NY but from Russia. No SH1T I knew she wasn't from NY by her horrible English. She wanted to come to the USA and get married ASAP. Learning this I told her straight out I would pick her up from the airport, provide her a place to stay, help her get a job, provide her with food, transportation and English lessons but I would not be sending her any money.
Two emails later she had already traveled to Moscow to catch a flight to Washington DC and sent me a copy of her complete flight itinerary. At this point I'm thinking maybe this is for real. oops, not so fast. Her next email she said that she didn't realised she needed a round trip ticket to get a visa and she didn't have the money for the return tkt. She needed $900.00 to pay for it. She said she spent every last ruble she had including all she could borrow from her family to get this far. At this point I felt it was time to remind her that I told her what I would and wouldn't do for her. I never heard from her again. Was I being cruel? Should I have sent her 900 bucks?

The other day I happen to be looking at a site I visit now and then http://www.womenrussia.com/blacklist_summary_a.htm#Archive1
And there she was using the name Alena Ovtchinnikowa. She told me her name was Iraida Anphalova. I decided to check that site under every letter in the alphabet and found her pics listed with no less than 22 different names from 10 different locations. Other guys had posted letters they got from her which were verbatim copies of the ones she sent me. One jerk actually sent her $1150.00 and a second payment of $2,000.00 The last he heard from her was a story she told him of how she was robbed on the street in Moscow and all his money was gone.

It's an on going SCAM..... It's a good thing that you stuck with your guns and didn't send any money to them. You did the right thing.... Your story should be taken as a lesson to anyone that is asking for money.....
