It's slang and pretty much means a greeting for an individual or group. I believe it comes from the hip hop culture. At least that's what my son told me. grin

Go to the very top right hand corner of your page where you see signout pretzelman and click 'Help' next to it.

Scroll down the help page until you see " Shout outs.

That's where you'll find the explanation of what it is.
