I have been reading alot of complaining about the new format. Is it that bad. I am a new member and so far its not that bad. The site is not that complicated to use. Although for being a connection web site dosnt seem to be that many connections going on.

Shout outs were there when I joined. I've always wondered what it is. It's not one of the new features, I just didn't use it b/c I didn't know what it was. laugh

And yes, btw...I went to it and it just tells me I don't have any. It doesn't tell you how to send one, or give the option for sending one there.

Okay everyone, I tested it out on Joktan!

Click on a person's profile.
Click on the shout-out button.
Then write a message. (IT IS PUBLICLY DISPLAYED, NOT PRIVATE)



****You can adjust whether you want to preapprove any shout-outs before they are made public under My home/edit settings/edit shout-outs.

It's what I do when I get up at 2:00 in the morning to pee and trip over 2 Schnausers, a bed frame and the edge of the bathtub.sigh

somechick: Go to the very top right hand corner of your page where you see signout pretzelman and click 'Help' next to it.

Scroll down the help page until you see " Shout outs.

That's where you'll find the explanation of what it is.

Hope this helps.

The shout outs aren't displayed in the forums, but are publicly displayed from the person's profile. That's why I couldn't find the one I sent. Hope this helps everyone!
