What Are Your Christmas Plans ? Am I A Redneck ?

For myself I'm making a giant pot of Potatoe Soup laced with ham.For decorations I strung mini lights around my ceilings that have Crown molding.
I put my creme Cashmere Western jacket in the cleaners mainly because some Cowgirl drunk spilled beer on it last Saturday nite.
Taking my black Stetson Hat to get it re-shaped and brushed.
Having my levis's heavy starched.
Get my Ostrich boots and silver star buckle shined up.
Check my supply of Wrangler's Cologne.
Brush my dog.
Go to the shooting range.

Clean the house. Make up the bed. Carry out the trash.
Since the Govt. pays me so well I guess they expect me to go to one of my fav. hangouts whereupon I'll do my best to satisfy any lady who wants company or a dance.

Since I don't drink much,,,,,,,,maybe it's time to get loaded.In fact I know of some places that actually would tilt over and collapse without my added weight on the other end of the barrel.

Now of course ifn I had a gal here with me then my plans would all change in a heartbeat to suit her.yay

Well Christmas Eve & Day I'll be volunteering at a nursing home.

Plus later on on those two days I'll be spending time with a friend of mine.

I have an invite to go to my best friend's house on Christmas Eve to spend it with her and her family and all of their friends and neighbors...they host an open house that night. I'll know several of them, so I'm considering it. It beats sitting here all alone or going out to get drunk.

However, I might change my plans for somebody if he'll be online. Saves me driving that night when so many drunks are on the road...a reason I tend to stay home New Year's Eve.

Well I still haven´t gotten adjusted to the whole "go out for a dinner in a nice restaurant singles Christmas" thing. It doesn´t feel like Christmas, in a restaurant... so I invited a couple of guys over for a "misfit" Christmas who don´t have family here and aren´t going home... now I´m up to 7 of them, they´re taking me shopping tomorrow and will set up the extra TV and playstation boxes and I have to make a special trip to the butcher to get my favorite house guest a nice big meaty bone for Christmas morning!

Christmas eve will be at my nephews to be with family. Christmas day I will volunteer at the local soup kitchen to help the homeless enjoy a hot meal.

For me, I'll actually have the pleasure of spending some of Christmas day with "both" my boys before they go to their dad's get together. Then I'll be home alone the rest of the day. Darn! I wish I had a home computer!wink Not that I couldn't go to work and hop on the forums from there, just don't want to darken the door on that day.
