Diamond, thank you. What a wonderful story. It really touched me.

I had mentioned to you that I had always been so interested in Vietnam. About 4 years ago, I started reading about and watching things on the history channel about WWII. It's fascinating to me. But, this was beautiful.

Thanks for sharing it. hug

Those were beautifully design aircraft.

My favorite has always been the F-14 Tomcat.

Always wished I had a chance to touch one.

My local Air Base has a great museum, I got to get close to an SR-71. That is also a beautiful ship.

They just don't make them like they use to.

Thanks again Diamond.

cheers

I loved the video about this great airplane. I was in the US Air Force for 20 years and worked at Lockheed Martin for 23 years. One bit of history on your comment: The SR-71 you enjoyed was built in my facility by Lockheed. I had the honor to be in charge of the computer services supporting the last aircraft contract we had re-building 3 of the SR-71's for the Air Force and paid for my NASA/CIA. I worked side-by-side with the engineers who designed it and the techies who built it and the pilots who flew it. I agree the SR-71 is a beautiful aircraft.

Awesome video Diamond! When I was growing up we used to go to the air shows at Moffat Field... back then the Blue Angels were always the highlight.
