wave cswelcome and if you decide to join us in forums, welcome to the asylum! And yes, lose the kids from pics. You can have them on your profile, but I wouldn't suggest them as your main pic...nor even on your profile...dangerous world these days, and tons of scammers abound outside of forums who do look.

cswelcome It is a good site. Hope you enjoy it. Keep an eye out for scammers, but overall it is a great site! Found my match on here 1/3/07, and we've been married just over a year now!

May you have as much luck finding your special someone here as we had!

Thanks for the tips on the main pic. doh I'll crop her out.
Regarding the word "legitimate", I was thinking about the scammers, but I like all the funny replies. I'm just not in the mood to be messed with by scam artists. Besides, I'm about the poorest mark they could ever find. rolling on the floor laughing I've got one from match.com I was chatting with on yahoo. I didn't know it at the start, but the red flags kept going off with every e-mail, every chat. I have ceased all contact, but it really left me in a state of unease regarding online dating. That's why I put that in there. Anyway, thanks for the very warm welcome everyone.
