For the last three days I have been working 780kms away, about 1.5hrs flight each way. Two nights ago I had the good company of two people from the centre, for the evening meal. Yesterday evening, I had a lie down in my hotel room first, so it was about 8.30pm when I wandered into the dining room. I looked around for the above two people, but sadly, they weren't there.

Then I looked, and looked again. It was a good friend/colleague of mine from where I live. We both screamed out from across the dining room, and gave each other a big hug. She and her colleague had made their 10 hour drive there to escort a client with a disability, and in fact had only the hour before arrived. They were driving off again in the morning! As we sat down to have our meal, I thanked them for taking the trouble to drive all the way here to have dinner with me!laugh This morning we shared breakfast and more laughs, and they were on their way on their long drive home again. I fly out in three hours.

I was reading my trusty little book "Angels 101" by Doreen Virtue that travelled with me here. I had a bit of a chuckle over the above incident. I see it as an example of how angels quietly go about manifesting some of our every day needs, and appear as mere 'coincidences'.innocent

This quote I will share:

" Angels love everyone unconditionally. They look past the surface and see the godliness within us all. They focus only on our Divinity and potential, and not on our "faults". So angels are not judgmental, and they only bring love into our lives".

So remember, "..whether you need help with your health, career, love life, family, or any other area, the angels can help you".

But you do need to ask for their help, as they will otherwise not interfere with our free will. Best to ask when you have quiet and feel at peace.

Thanks for reading. And may Peace be with you.

Awesome experience...and yes, small world! I love Doreen Virtue's cards and books...all very full of wisdom and good messages. And somehow, always correct for the moment.

Have a safe trip home, and I'm glad you've got happy memories from this trip! hug

And Shanti to you!

Yes, I love her books. And I have 2 of her packs.

Still can't quite fathom my "life purpose" that crops up repeatedly, as being with "crystal and indigo children".
Any ideas would be appreciated.

More and more of them being born, and diagnosed ADHD and autistic because they don't conform to tradition well. You're in a field where this would apply, correct? Read up on them, V. As an adult indigo, I grew up knowing what it was like not to fit in well, and tried to conform enough to go into the Army and to Christian churches...only to finally decide that I just can't conform like that, I have to be me. It's been lovely to find a few places where I'm not alone, and others accept me for me. And even someone who really likes me for me a lot.

More so than any other time of year it seems this time of year people reflect and are more open to LOVE..I just finnished writing an E-mail to a forum member here and said I think love is outgoing concern for others...this reminded me of a passage and here is an opportune place to share it..it is from the Bible if it offends you stop reading now and go on to the next post or just simply leave this thread
..but I feel compelled to post this so here it is ...
1 Corinthians 13
Love
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Something to think about I hope

The above Corinthians passage is one of my favourites. Very appropriate for the thread. Thank you.

Love is certainly the greatest of the three. And may I say for us mere mortals, it is not always easy. But if we are mindful of being "patient", and that love "always perseveres", then yes, there is hope.

Something most definitely to think about.

Thanks Dru,

Interesting you mention these. I have wondered about this as an interpretation. I have been involved in some training with the Austism SA organisation, and fostered on respite basis for years, a young boy who is now grown up and my son's age, and still good friends. He was diagnosed with ADHD, learning disability, non specific autism, to name a few. It was a joy to have him stay with us for a full weekend each month for years. I could do a whole thread on issues surrounding this.

Another note on autism. Many more autistic children are around now, and some, it's been discovered, are because of the mercury in innoculations. Chelation therapy (to remove heavy metals) and a dairy-free and gluten-free diet has cured them. Vaccinations were tested for their individual safety, but never for safety in combination, and children today get many more (at least in the US) than when I was a child and had mine.

Thought you might like to know, V.

Yes, and I could join you with information. I'll keep it small here...they've done tests with one really great toy, and other small toys, and found that these indigo and crystal children will play with the small ones while one is on the big one until it's someone else's turn. All seem to know when this is and who's turn w/o forming a queue. They just naturally queue up w/o stopping their play. They just don't fit into the traditional structures built by their predecessing reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and blues...in that order. Very few reds around now, mostly greens and blues (the hippie generations) besides the indigos and crystals...and yes, this goes by chakra development and associations.

Actually, I've read the books, then passed them on to my sister, so this is all I can give you for my actual knowledge. There are good books out there, though.

(And if this posts as a very long, blank space under here, something really weird just happened to it. Sorry...it wasn't my fault.)

Don't feel bad about the cards. I haven't had a chance to do much at all.

Anyway, vinny, forget the cards for now.

God willing, in a few months, I want to head out to the northern hemisphere, and catch up with some EU friends. Then maybe hop over to Georgia, U.S to see one of your fav. ladies, Katiedevil Maybe we should organize a group get together.cheering
