It sure does but there is work and family. I am grateful to both of them. Oh yeah and friends dont have many of those living in a new city.

Since my kids don't have contact with me, Christmas is pretty much just another day....oh yeah, a day that I go over and have dinner with my parents laugh

You are not alone. Xmas does bring up memories of our past, but it is just another day designated to some importance via religion and commerce.

Wouldn't know where u are really....but when sometimes it happens that I feel the clouds of gloom overcasting my skies I choose to leave the house and go over to town.....

Being surrounded with people, even if total strangers...somehow makes the sun shine out again...

There is also lots going on at this time of year that could use a helping hand.....a silly example being the voluntary animal helpers that are always understaffed....

Think of all those who have no choice but to be working such as hospital and police staff all over the world....

Think of all those who are even worst off then us....not only alone but with nothing...not even a meal or a roof...even in our own towns and cities....

And all of a sudden one appreciates what we do have.....

Happiness to you all...christmas cool
