LACali: There is Usenet for philosophical and religious and political threads. This is a dating site and by its very nature tends to be light. This wasn't a response to you Dru it was to the OP who was already banned after one very ugly day on here-I remember it well as does Conrad.... I don't come here for deep thought I come here to pass the time with fun/interesting/funny ppl.


Yes, if you choose to make use of the main tendency of this website, that is alright.
As for that mention of my being banned and the name Conrad (he must be very popular/spoiled here and therefore with license to offend) I started to think of why one can be attacked out of the blue once you join a website like this. Who is that bloody person you confuse me of? is it that man´s hatred so huge? Anyway, I stop to think about that as I got a letter from him giving his apology. I did not accept it as I have the freedom to get it or not, but now that you madam come up with that one more time (and even though you do not use bad adjectives) I think it is not nice to do so without proof. Hope you think about it.

Anyway I am back to the topic of this thread. Maybe you are right Madam, let´s take it light and be goofy now and save the time to fight when couples get together.

Antjo39: I did not mean any criticism for anyone choosing forgetting alonness or chores, or just killing time. I only meant criticism for myself though anyone agreeing with my points would feel the same.
You said that nonsensical threads last forever and I personally find erratic gigling irritating (and I just choose to stay away).

I just meant at the beginning of this thread that it would be good to see some good exciting and instructive threads (a few of them turn up every now and then) as an option but then I reflected that this kind of communication (the Internet) shuts off that possibility. Just think of the timing involved with the writing a good post ... in the meantime the discussion is already branched off....

I agrre with you. YOU SEE A GOOD EXAMPLE HERE WHEN most of PEOPLE portrait themselves as full of virtues and good feelings. People think it is attractive and still one can fish something with that cheap bait just to one´s own downfall (just because the real person will come up later when the excitement of fishing has been replaced by boredom and a feeling of being fed-up with the fished fish). The other option is to be gigling and joky and I could choose that one just for the sake´s of it. Unfotunately it is believed by many people that it can build up a personality in the mind and eyes of others.
Only phoniness or being a light-adolescent adult are the options not only here but in the whole Internet...
A matter of choice I know.

I think that's why it's important to post a couple of pics so people can see you are not hiding behind a profile. Besides with time many of us have spoken to and met others in person and we know who's who.

Many of us in the forums portray ourselves as we really are, I think. We chat and make friends, and get to know each other really well. We confess our weaknesses, celebrate our strengths, share our sorrows, and laugh together here.

So sorry if you're making up for some deficiencies in personality by being somebody else, but most here are, to the best of my knowledge, their true selves. I know I am.

I know I used to play games against a long term boyfriend , If i want to win the game. And he was about to shoot 8 ball in I would stand near the opening he was shooting for which was crotch high to me. And then shortly before he shot I would move and stand out of the way, he would miss his shot. And he said no matter what he did He couldn't focus on the shot his eyes kept checking me out even if I was out of the way by then.rolling on the floor laughing applause wink I cheatedlaugh

Sorry to contradict you again Madam, but you do not get to know who is who by pics neither by words....oh bloody Jesus!!

The reflection on the nature of the Internet as part of human life with its phoniness and shallowness is enough to support my point.
I suppose that is a matter of choice to say "Oh I know this guy by his/her pics and by his amazing virtues he/she says he/she has"
Anyway, not my option, not my coup of tea.

You might talk for yourself but never for others. I can come up with many simple examples I have seen in this website and others about how people portray themselves and it is not hard to see that many people do marketing. It is interesting though to see that so I play with that a little bit.

I think when I take mankind features as part of an interesting game nurtured by mother nature, anger and moral musts about that dissapear and I just contemplate and think of myself as part of that thing.
