But most people mixing this up! You cannot "love" somebody you don't know!

I think love comes with time and knowing someone and going through things together but I do believe in love at first sight. I also believe you can fall for someone on here and talk to them and know for sure. Then you have to meet of course. It happened to me-the first two parts (never got to the meeting in person part) so I know it can happen. Sadly, nothing came of it. But I still believe....

Lust is about me Love is about you. Say that out loud and you will clearly define the two and see the polar differences.

You can never truly know anyone else, not even your own children. So how is it possible or required to know someone to Love them? What is in a person's heart and mind are often different things and we have little ability to manage to dump the contents of our own heads out in words or feelings, never mind the translational problems of interpretting the heart and soul.
Love at first sight is possible and very real. Have a little faith it is the precursor to trust and an imperative to Love.

Love does not require a reciprocal it merely is. When you demand to have it returned it never was Love in the first place.

Talk on the phone I mean. I think writing and talking on the phone give you a very good idea about someone's character and personality.

Nope not neccessarily , if they are running a game on you then you won't know until they screw up and the whole game comes crashing down. Rarely we know we have been played until then.

I agree with the first part, and as for the second part we don't know only our own feelings, if the other one is playing us then we won't know, if they are any good at their game.

I believe you can. Because I believe there are people we are meant to meet and be with.

Which inherently means there is a cosmic kind of attraction there that brings the two people together in the first place. The getting to know you bit can be arduous, but it's really kinda only filling in the details.

I believe in love when you first see her. I know when I first see someone that I don't love them, so the opposite must be true also. After the first sight of her it then takes time to allow the love to grow until the heart hurts without her. So yes there is love at the first site.

Well said, Mark. It's hard enough to know ourselves well, so can we really ever know another? This is why people can be married for a long time and be surprised when their spouse runs off with someone else. We know what they tell us. We know what they show us. But we'll never really know them totally, nor they us.

I have heard it said, "if two people do not grow together, they will grow apart".....

Some never allow time for any growth..

Very true Pat. Some people grow or change more than others in a relationship, happened to me during my long marriage. Difficult for my ex to deal with, so we did grow apart.
