25 years ago I fell in love with someone the moment I saw him (I still remember the day so clearly even though I can't remember what I did last week.) He with me as well. It lasted a very long time. So I do believe. I don't know what it is since it wasn't purely physical nor was it lust. I have no explanation just that it does happen.

You can never truly know anyone else, not even your own children. So how is it possible or required to know someone to Love them? What is in a person's heart and mind are often different things and we have little ability to manage to dump the contents of our own heads out in words or feelings, never mind the translational problems of interpretting the heart and soul.
Love at first sight is possible and very real. Have a little faith it is the precursor to trust and an imperative to Love.

Love does not require a reciprocal it merely is. When you demand to have it returned it never was Love in the first place.

I personally don’t believe in love at first sight, I do believe in lust at first sight. I think just seeing someone you can feel drawn to them and want to kiss them right there or maybe more, but that’s lust not love, love is much deeper.
