My birthday is almost over and I did not get even one happy birthday from any of my friends. Even my Dad never phoned me to wish me happy birthday.sigh

At least my three daughters wished me Happy Birthday but did not get any presents. I guess that is what happens when it is so close to Christmas.

That is fine, but cannot believe my Dad never phoned, or my few friends here never phoned. My kids did not buy me any presents but that is alright, they needed it for Christmas.

Don't be shallow about presents, my kids or most I know have never gotten me anything. I do not care about that, just remembering me is all the thanks I need. It's not about that girl. Why do you need presents. Well Happy Birthday, I can;t get you anything I am very poor. Does that make me less than what you want as a friend.sigh

Don't buy them any if that will make you feel better. It would bother me to not give my friends and family prensents , I never expect anything back.professor

No of course not it does not make you less of a friend. This is the first year this has happened to me. I do not care if my kids buy me anything, and I would never feel right if I did not buy them anything.
