It's okay...Malta is warm and there is allways summer..even on Chriss mass day
It's a sunny Christmas Day, but rain forecast and it isn't warm in the winter.... it feels colder inside than out due to high walls, crap insulation and no central heating!
The old houses had really thick walls with a big gap filled with rubble to keep the heat inside (and keep cool in the heat of summer).......... more modern buildings (i.e. less than 40 years old) tend to have much thinner walls - double glazing is now law for all new buildings but not yet enforced.
We really need central heating in the winter and air-conditioning in the summer............ but yes, it's mostly warm and only feels really cold for a couple of months each year!
