Many of us are alone at this time of the year. I for one am feeling very lonely. It is supposed to be a time spent with family and loved ones but, how can you manage that when the distance is so great?

I am greatful to my friends here at CS. You are all here and help make it a much better holiday season for me.

You're not alone in being alone. Just me and the dogs here. I got an email from my parents. Haven't heard much from a special man. And won't see my kids until Sunday.

So...yep...I'm on here with all of the other lonelies. And this way, we're not so alone.

My heartfelt sympathies to all of you who are alone right now...I was expecting a xmas day alone too, which actually didn't bother me too much because my family is far away, and I am in a new country....but I received late last night the most unexpected invite and spent the whole afternoon in the company of a brilliant maltese family, stunningly beautiful women, gifted and well-read men, cuisine to die for, in a beautiful and gracious home...and it was so unexpected...I wish everyone could have such a gift on this day...I am blessed..

How beautiful, Lago. I'm so happy you had the opportunity to spend your Christmas with such wonderful people and that you had such a wonderful time. You deserve it. You bring a lot of happiness to many of us.

Well i am alone here, save for my two cats! You know when everyone one else was in the street with their kids having a laugh and being merry and eating and drinking i was outside cutting my grass, then i unblocked a drain, then picked a few weeds.

You get the idea, i didn't even get one thing i was hoping for, a simple phonecall.

I didn't even get that.

Mind you even if i did i would have been very upset afterwards, so maybe it's a good idea.

My Christmas will never be happy until the day my son calls me dad on Xmas day and is happy to see me.

Till then this will always be a bad time for me, and that will never change, nor will any words ever be able to make up for all that i will have to go through, from this point to that.

But i sincerely hope everyone had a nice Xmas, just because it's not possible for me to be happy it does't make me wish it on anyone else.

This should make one sicko in CS very happy indeed to read this.It will probably make his year.
