well i dont think so i think that flirting is the definition of directing sexual messages or gestures of a sexual nature it would not be truely flirting if it wasent Gneee

hmmm well my exgirlfriend liked it when other guys looked at here then she would bluntly flirt back and assume that its innocent buts what so innocent about diverting sexual attention to 1 other than ur partner sigh guess thats wy we never worked out...

Personally I don't feel it is lady like to flirt,unless done in a non-obvious way,like a quick look and a soft smile.For those who like to flirt and/or be flirted with,if your single fine.If your 1/2 a couple no it is disrespecting one your with.Now if it is simply bieng friendly or helpful that's different.

I guess it depends what you're actually DOING that is flirting.

And I think the nature of the relationship with the 3rd party would have a bearing too, especially if it was someone you knew well.

As you say each relationship is different. To some seeing there partner flirting with someone else may be a real turn on, i agree it is an art personally i would prefer to flirt with my partner and then do something about it when i got home

I sincerely believe this is one of those cultural differences that exist in the societies that are opposite the Atlantic.....

Most americans I met feel flirting is a no no since it is 'leading one on'.......

to us over here, maybe due to our cultural parallels to the Italian nature of doing things...flirting is a high form of compliment that can be dished out artfully....irrespective of one's situation in terms of being taken or not...

it is also a very common accepted form of meditterranean cultures....of which I am a proud participant..
