Many people demand an Activity Partner. They do not demand life-partner. Why? What is difference between both? .confused:

Well here is how I see it.

Some people have an 'activity' partner to satisfy certain needs. Nothing else, just that and it works for some.

Hope that unconfuses you.

I know plenty of people who do this simply because they don't have time for a relationship but physical needs are almost always present. At one point I used to be one of those but over time I realized that "activities" are better with a partner that there are feelings for. A good foundation of trust/affection/lust make for much better 'activities' than just picking up someone at a bar. Or so I think anyways laugh grin thumbs up

I might be a bit naive here but I consider an "Activity Partner" to be a nonsexual type of arrangement say someone to go to movies or dinner with. With sex that becomes a "Friend With Benefits" just shows that one phrase can mean so many things.

I play an activity called Golf with 3 guys every Sunday Morning but I would never consider them life partners as they are not very good. grin

Activity in itself can mean many things

Well if there was a sexual twist on Activity Partner Urban Dictionary would have it. This is what they said however.
activity partner

A person with whom you form a special bond because of the common interest for a specific activity.

A person with whom you get ritually together to perform a specific activity.
