I observed from my experience men are scared and run by an intelligent woman with personality and principles,because they want to be the leadres in a relation.I think is not good, men and women should be same in a relation and a man to be proud to have near him an intelligent woman with principles,from my point of view ,i never run if i find an intelligent man with principles but definitelly i run if i find a weak man without principles and without mind

Well i meet few insecure,as i wrote before i don't like insecure ones, but i was talking in general not only about me.

.Usually if i find such men insecure i don't talk too much with them ,i mean after talking some minutes u realize what kind of person he is ,in net also,although in net u can be little lied because maybe writes other person for him but if u meet him in reality u find the true.

People can be boxed up men or women thankfully they break out of those stereotypes please look at men as individuals even if it frustrates you. Sometimes we say oh they must not like me because of so and so but really we are saying please like me I am insecure. Just my opinion. There are a lot of men who enjoy strong intelligent women and men who prefer that women lean on there. In my experience with men mainly as friends and some dating here in the US anyway they are just as vulnerable as we are. Good luck Claudya.

People can't be boxed up. Usually there are areas in a relationship where one of the other dominates we are meant to complement each other.

Some man just know what they want and just because you have an opinion doesn't mean your B/F needs to agree with you and when you have a problem with someone who disagrees with you and then start acting weird about it, well, sometimes it's better to leave things as they are than stay with someone too immature to understand that different people have different points of view.

Strong willed and intelligent women are very sexy to me but respect of one's opinion and personality is paramount.

Well, put. I too, have found men to be intimidated when the woman is in a field, he could not be in.

I even had one guy ask me when I was ~ 20 yrs old, if I would please pick field other than engineering, bc he really loved me and wanted to propose to me for marriage.

However, there was no way that he could have me as his wife if my field was one that showed I was smarter than he was.

So, if I changed to something traditional, such as teaching or nursing, I would get a proposal from him.

Once, my jaw hit the pavement, the shock wore off. I informed him if he really Loved me, he would want me to be happy, and in the field I felt a calling to.

So, in that light, my first priority had to be to the one whom designed and created me bc I was called to Engineering for His purpose, not my future husband's.

He told me that it was a duty for a woman to suppress her intelligence to make her husband stand out and above all. I said, well then, I am not, nor would I be the girl or wife for you then, am I?

Yes, many are intimidated apparently, but that leaves the best of them for the finding. When you find one that finds it attractive, loves you for it, and can keep up, as well as match your morals...keep him. He's rare.

And there are many of those keepers on here that someone let go of...it's a shame. However, it gives them the opportunity now to find a woman smart enough to appreciate all that they have to offer her.

I wish that for all of us.
