somechick: According to the tv staion who does up their webpage here in Cincinnati it's 32 degrees and foggy. But of course that could also depend on what station I have my tv/radio on at the moment.

I've heard so many conflicting weather reports where weather conditions just don't seem to match up with what's really going on outside. One minute I've heard reports where there's a chance of rain showers and you could barely see out the windshield of your vehicle and how it's supposed to be sunny and it's cloudy.

I just stick my big toe out my door and if there's no frost on it then I know it's not that bad outside.

That's what I do...just stick my head out the door...jacket or no jacket is answered right away.

Just got through -37C (-31 F) here in Manitoba, Canada.

Does any other Canadian ever have the impression that weather forecasters in Manitoba are falsely - even insidiously - optimistic in their predictions? It seems like every warming trend they predict never materializes. If I were more cynical, I might suspect that they're trying to prevent a mass southern migration....

32f here right now raining off & on today and supposedly tomorrow. I'm hoping for a blizzard to dump about 2 feet of snow on us but I don't think that will happen. We've been in a water shortage all year and a heavy snowfall would break the drought we're in.
