I agree. I love watching a man in the kitchen! And if he's a great cook & goes out of his way to make me a great meal, it just makes me feel so much more special. My mom used to joke about how I always ended up with men who were such good cooks. wine

Tell your Momma she just raised a smart child!

Seriously, not only is it kind of sexy, but it's loads of fun to pal around in the kitchen together. Not only does it take the daily chore and make it a pleasure, but there's all sorts of fun things you can do while the water's boiling...'wow wow wow

I think a cooking man is sexy as long as all he is wearing is an apron

I love having a man who can cook. I think today, it's a necessity since usually both people work and it shouldn't be just the woman's job anymore. wine

True that is a large part of why I'd run out of a ideas, being tired from work.

Some days, after many double OT shifts (12 to 16 hrs), all I wanted was a nice long hot bubble bath then bed. Come in the door and get greeted with " So, What are you cooking for dinner, I'm Starved!

Can anyone say commit murder crossing the mind?

DarkKnight2032: <--Can cook, clean and do laundry. I even know the mysteries of the Toilet seat. I cook for my roommate at least one meal a day for the week.

I also love learning new skills associated with cooking, like baking, experimentation with new ingredients and different cultures.

I stand 6'5" and being around 380, porportioned, I have yet have anyone call me sissy for cooking.

thumbs up Good for you. This is one bachelor who will not starve. I think it is silly to break up work by gender. It is good to know how to do many things. teddybear

That's the problem, some guys are not team players. In a good relationship, both parties are trying to make the load a little easier for each other. So, when my guy is tired, I pull the weight, and when I am tired he does. That is a sign of love.

Well, since I live alone, I kind of have to. I don't mind it because I like to know how to do tings. I have even changed my own tires, except for one time when I couldn't get the lug nuts off. Someone in the tire shop tightened them too tight. frustrated

LOL!!!! Normally I wouldn't bother with this kind of thread, however I felt the need to THRUST into it...

A man has got to eat. If there is no one to do it for you, pull the pots and pans out and do it yourself... I cook... I eat... I live...

...I don't think there is a woman on here that would call me a "sissy".
