Sommerauer71: This deserves a wider audience!

I am waiting for more men to come in and defend themselves...

Whilst I file my nails, and decide which shoes, what handbag and which bra to store my bazzookas in...

StressFree: It's sunny there? Lucky you. Yes, you do have my core roots worked out...but my branches is a whole other story...lol

Oh do not be so ridiculous...

Your branches?

I just snap them off and use them for kindling...

In the Mars/Venus book... one of the chapters is about men retreating to their caves, and it´s a behaviour that most women don´t understand and often with their reaction push a man even further away. Being of the cave retreating behavior myself I understand it pretty well, and the worst thing a person can do at this stage is to push... that is a pretty sure way to end the relationship. If you remain available but give the "retreater" some space... well I usually edge my way back out and start nuzzeling again... and I think most men are the same.

Claayer: hahaha there is something in that.

Like the ole 'to keep a man; you must be a maid in the living room, a cook in the kitchen and a whore in the bedroom'

and...'Lady in the street and a freak in the bed'

Yes, more women need to think like this...

I do.

I let him think that he is in charge...

Oh I've been a few times.. wink

I have my own little situation going on atm..

I AM definitely holding the reins.. snooty

But of two horses..

Neither which I can decide to ride (so to speak haha!)

The fabulous one that IS a fantastic ride.. looks great, is a charming beautiful stallion.. But! who fancies the fillies and regularly bucks/f*cks me off.. and is a A LOT of hard work.

Orrr...

The (equally fine fettled) dependable stud.. Who is sure footed and steady.. reliable.. and a reeaaally comfy ride..

BUT!... Who I MIGHT find a little too boring on an endurance ride..

haha..

dunno confused

Ah, another smart woman.

I agree.

They run to their caves, to think about things, or they go to the pub, order a pint, look at it, mates will ask 'Fight with the Mrs?' They nod and then talk about AC Milan winning...

We wimmen, we talk, call our friends/mother's and wail down the phone...

Not me, I sit quietly, wait for the storm to pass, then when he walks through the door, say 'hello darling, what would you like to eat'

If he has any sense, he will say 'you'

Absolutely..

When your 'significant other' wants some space.. let them have it..

BUT!... give them MORE than they were expecting. snooty

Get on with your own thing.

They'll be back (MOST times)

I usually find that when you´re torn between two... in the long run it´s usually neither... but the long run is fun while it lasts...laugh

Claire

Of course they will...

I think as I age, it is something I have learnt, as I understand the male gender better. Certainly with my son... He has taught me.
