I like to just go away when I am mad or upset, retreat into my own safe space....so why do some men push so hard and enjoy throwing dramas in your face when they know you just can not deal with them...it just is not you, you can do public drama...they make it a floor show for all...... PLEASE I FIND MYSELF SCREAMING GIVE ME SPACE AND LET ME GO AWAY FOR A WHILE...let me think...if you let me do this I will come back clear headed.... if you smother or harrass me I will go away for good and I nearly died literally being smothered, controlled and beaten by my ex husband.

I am not saying that what happened to you is right, at all, but we can just walk away and have some time alone, for the majority of men, as with women, they will let that space be given.

What is even harder is when you meet a new guy I tell them about my past straight away whether it is a platonic friendship or something more.... I feel it is only fair.

The guy I have met now has been wonderful but their are those that say God you have been through a hell of alot, I will try never to hurt you, belittle you extra and the first thing they do when a cross word has been said is resort to the things you fear most...mind games, bully tatics and dramas...

What do you do again run for the hills, having the little bit of trust you had managed to scrape together trampled into the dirt again....

Men scream about being equals...... nope it will never happen, some may compliment each other beautifully but never equals!!!

Men are physically stronger and often more convincingly devious and will play on several woman's heart strings whilst trodding another into the dirt!

Just as I have always stated.......... It is NOT men that complicate life..

We are such simple creatures, and then along comes "woman"..

I read most of the comments and I must say, it did not surprise me at all. The image you created of men is exactely what I expected you would.
Few women participated with comments, for reasons well determined, but sure the few of you got the job well done.

Most men, on this site are regarded wick, desperate and platonic about the environment you women created for them. As much as they pretend to play into your nonsense game, they sit back and wonder. Most of them are too intelligent and comfortable to comment on something so delusional, but here and there, some crazy bastard, like me, will say loud what the other ones, only think.
You are all bitter, middle aged women that cannot stand the fact that all you are capable of doing well,at this stage of your life, is walk your grand children in the park, and inflict the virus of corruption in to the ones that are still well.

Please leave the good women of this world be. It may be for the sake of your sons and grand sons.

I´m so glad that you feel qualified to speak for the entire male species... what a special guy you are.

I know this was written in a lighthearted way and it was nice to read and to read all the comments. But I don't find anything simple about men. I find they have all the emotions (really!) and depth of women but hide it. If men were so uncomplicated and all they needed was food, sex and football there would be no divorce. I can read signals from my girlfriends when something's wrong and when I ask they tell me. Men always shut down when they're upset or not feeling well and if I walk away or keep asking either way it blows up. As I've gotten older and more experienced I've gained exactly zero insight.
So, Sommer I enjoyed your post but I have to respectfully disagree.

well I'll agree with some of that, I do think some are bitter, simply because men are for the most part happy with few worldy things. When those same some should actually be mad at themselves. For wanting and expecting men to think like them. So they work themselves up most of the time... look at everything they do. They are rarely happy or satisfied with anything very long.. So it a nutshell(no pun intended) alot of them are just "JEALOUS" at the fact that they are not "MEN"...

I usually agree with your posts but this time you got it wrong. I can assure you I have no desire to be a man. I think it is much harder to be a man, much more is expected of men than women. My life is pretty nice and I don't feel much pressure in any way. I think my male friends do. I may be wrong but really one thing I'm very glad is that I'm a woman.

Morning all! Having a good chuckle reading all these replies. Summer, if that's REALLY you're view of men, all I can say is you've been dating the wrong ones! Lol!! I ENJOY doing the unexpected; keeps everything interesting! Some of the male posts I take exception with. See a lot of women on here who have been hurt - in some cases badly. Makes it harder for the nice/good guys to start any type of relationship, but it can be done. Good luck!

Oh, sorry too serious this morning-it's only 8am. Probably pissed off Sommer too with my analysis.
