I was a young Navy Officer (not a pilot) and I got plnty of "stuff" from that Uni....not that I was an unattractive guy to begin with - but you put on that gold braid and that hat (cover) and look out girlies.banana

Persons who train with the different services are expected to uphold themselves with a higher level of respect and self control. Police, fire, military, park rangers, national security, even private security officers & martial artists... they are supposed to be reliable, safe & willing to defend... whether they be male or female.
This is the expectation, to serve with honor.

Now whether or not they do it is a whole different kettle of beans... but yes, the idea of someone living by an honor bound code is sexy.

Says Who? It depends on the situation. Some are stationed far away, others never leave the country or base. Some take entire families all over the world with them.

Either way, if you are implying unfaithfulness, DON'T. I know some DO have that problem. But others do not.

How do I know? My parents were in the category of long separation due to Dad being in the military. How ever we stayed home on the Farm, Dad did not want us being draged all over the world.

My Mom raised us right and taught us the value of Love, Honor, Cherish they are all tied in with Faithfulness, Loyalty and Trust.

You really have put this in perspective. I can't speak for other military people, but I was always taught it was an honour to be able to wear the uniform and this honour is earned not given.

I was married to a military man and dated mostly military men before that. I grew up around them. To be honest I am very respectful of the military and what they do but I do not want another military guy. In fact in a lot of ways a military guy to me is a turn off...not on.

personally give me a dusty scruffy mountain man. Or a tractor driving blue jean country boy. Complete with dusty boots.

As A man in the Army it is our uniform and profetional look.
all the ribons and shiny things make us look important and woman are attracted to stability, a providor, power, worrior, shiny things( think dimonds)
