Those guys in the electoral college voted the way the popular vote went. people like to vote for the person that makes all the big promises instead of voting for the person who tells the truth. I think we get what we vote for. We vote for pie up way in the sky so that's what we get.........pie wayyyyyyyy up in the sky and nothing else.

I agree that Lobbyist or Lobbying is terribly destructive to
America. This practise should stop. Also every Congressman
should be required to read the bills they vote on and take a
test to see if they understand it. Then they can vote on a
bill.

Amongst certain circles within society, what this post, and its replies is inferring is a massive worldwide conspiracy to defraud and repress 'mum & dad' voters and 'joe sixpack', and just about anyone else who is part of society (of which we all are!).

The over-arching idea of an elite repressing the masses is not a new one. The 'machinery', and levels of organisation required is not exactly a hard thing to achieve. Consider it achieved!

700 billion dollars divided by the population of U.S. would more than likely remove the need for large scale crime/robberies/debt (of any sort), health problems etc, etc, etc...

Well, I've read just about all the posts and all I can say is this: I TOLD YOU SO.
People have been saying this for over 20 years but their voices have gone unheard thanks to a media bent on sensationalism and race division. You are all correct but the question really is:
What CAN we do?
NOTHING. It's way too late in the game. We can't do nothing at all because short of a revolution, a world wide revolution, there is not much we can change.
And guess what, those Public Servants ( ) control everything that could help anyone gain popular consent to change anything, including the Military, Media, Communications, Electricity, water....
So, the only thing we can do is take it or die.
Sorry, that's pretty much what it comes down to. I wish I had a brighter solution for you but I'm not one to look at life with rosy glasses. I look at things with the cold stare of reality!

But in fact, those who are screwing the people of the world will have their day in court and the Almighty will preside. There won't be anywhere for them to hide and we all will be able to point the finger at them.
This life is temporary and I treat it as such.
