I want to thank all of you so far. It's interesting to see what songs express our current emotions, and I've gotten to listen to some great new songs and artists this way.

I can't respond to everyone right now, but I do keep reading the posts and songs. I'm glad everyone is having fun, or getting to express their pain. This one is going much longer than I ever thought it would when I started it.

Sorry you are having a down time also. Since the creative juices aren't responding, maybe a hike and being with nature will help. Unless you have a foot of snow there...

I saw a documentary on John Denver recently. When he was down and not writing songs, he would just walk with nature. It seemed to help him a great deal. He wrote Annie's Song while skiiing, and Sunshine On My Shoulders just walking around the woods near his home in Colorado.
